Read this comment - For as long as I can remember. They don't use the Hindi words for a lot of things, actually. In fact, for instance, the word "train," very few people know how to say it in Hindi. English "one liners" and words are very common. If you watched a Bollywood movie, you could probably understand about 25% of it by default.
